Welcome to New Jersey Nurses Union, Communications Workers of America Local 1091
New Jersey Nurses Union, Communications Workers of America Local 1091 (NJNU-CWA) was created by working nurses at Saint Barnabas Medical Center (now Cooperman Barnabas) who desired strong representation in all areas of the nursing profession. Since its inception, NJNU-CWA Local 1091 has proven effective in negotiating our contracts and making certain the terms and conditions of these contracts are upheld.
